On Saturday, September 21st, we took a Continental flight from Newark at 5:55pm, arriving in Zurich at 7:45am, Sunday, the 22nd.  At 9:50am, we flew from Zurich to Johannesburg on Swiss Air, arriving at 8:00pm.  At 9:05pm, we flew from Johannesburg to Cape Town on South African Airways, arriving on Sunday evening, the 22nd.   We were in Cape Town for six days, three nights at the luxury Radisson Hotel Waterfront Hotel at the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront (Granger Bay) and two nights aboard ship, before the ship sailed on September 27th.    Note: Had to clear customs with our baggage in Johannesburg and check-in for our flight to Cape Town.

  Before our return trip, we were in Kenya for six days, one night aboard ship in Mombassa, three nights in the Masai Mara at the Intrepids Safari Camp, and one night in the Norfolk Hotel in Nairobi. **Twin-engine Flight from Mombassa to Intrepids Safari Camp in the Mara (2-hour flight), and a 45-minute single engine flight from Masai Mara to Nairobi (Wilson Airport).   We flew back from Nairobi to the United States on Thursday, October 17th at 11:15am on Swiss Air to Zurich (overnight hotel in Zurich-Sheraton Arabella Atlantis), and finally on the 18th, an 11:15 AM flight on Continental arriving in Newark on Friday, October 18th, at 2:00pm.
